The first problem that I faced was the age of the WordPress version they were running leaving it open to attacks. Once the updates were complete the next step was to move onto the issue of usability. A complete product list was downloaded and each of them sorted into product type, what make and model they will fit and colour where applicable. A big part of any online shop is their product images and how they are displayed.
As part of my role I was in charge of taking and editing all the product photos for products currently in stock and any new products that arrive. The WooCommerce plugin which runs their online shop also connects to a system called CCP which brings in all their orders from the website and Ebay.
