Rhys Coates Racing

For Rhys’ second year racing he was moving from racing locally into the British Championships. For this a new bike design was required and a new logo. The main idea behind the logo was to have his name and race number combined but use a similar font to Ernie Coates Motorcycles. The biggest part of this project was the bike design. Before we could start with our own design we were given strict guidelines for particular logos which were championship sponsors and race numbers.

Once these were placed and the correct size we were able to start and place the teams sponsors logos. When we had finally settled on a design a pack was put together by myself to pass over to the company that would do the vinyl on the bike. This pack included design files, logos, dimensions, colour codes and various views of the bike to aid the printer.
