CBD although completely legal comes with its own set of difficulties when setting up a website to sell it. The first major issue we ran into was the payment gateway. Many companies refuse to allow CBD sales meaning we had to source a specialised provided and supply lab tests. The next issue was the use of email marketing. Similar to the payment gateway companies such as mail chimp will not allow CBD to be advertised using their system.

Eventually an internal plugin for WordPress was found that could take the place of Mail Chimp. As CBD can be misunderstood as to what it really is, it was important to create simple but informative sections on the website where customers could get information, learn about the brands that are sold and most importantly find out which product would be best for them.
