Project Nature

Location

I was lucky enough to grown up in the country side just outside Belfast and spend a lot of my childhood on my uncles farm. Outside my parents out overlooks one of their fields with the backdrop of Belfast lough and on a clear day down to the Mourne Mountains.

Thoughts

I was always taught to never enter a field with a cow and its calf (this photo was taken from behind an iron gate). While looking out at the view a calf became curious of what I was doing and quickly the mother came and stood infront of her curious calf to protect it. The added sense of protection comes from the father (the bull) in the background who with no doubt would protect them both at all costs.
